Tina Coville-Bauder
South Seneca Middle School

Tina Coville-Bauder is a co-facilitator for the summer 2005 workshop, "Slavery, the Civil War, and Reconstruction." Tina teaches Social Studies at South Seneca Middle School in Ovid, New York. She earned her BA in History and Political Science and Social Studies Education from Keuka College and her MA in Social Studies Education from SUNY-Cortland. She has taught social studies in New York State for the past 15 years.

Tina is actively involved in Middle Level Education including the teaching of Social Studies, Service-Learning and character education. She is currently developing a middle school enrichment course in civic engagement and public service.

In her "spare time" Tina can be found directing musical theatre and/or Civil War re-enacting with her husband and two young sons.
