Tim Cooper is the Curriculum Specialist and Broome-Tioga BOCES liasion for the "Teaching American History" grant at the Center.

Tim was a teacher and Social Studies Coordinator for 32 years in the Johnson City Central School District in Johnson City, NY. In August 2002, he joined the Center as a Curriculum Specialist for Broome-Tioga BOCES. He serves as the secondary school laision for the Center and helps to align all Grant projects to the NYS Standards. Tim's expertise as a trainer of scorers for NYS Assessments and as a scoring consultant for NYS, and his experience as a national trainer for Mastery Learning and Outcomes Based Education enhances the goals of the Grant.

Tim holds a Master's Degree in the Science of Teaching with a Social Studies major from Binghamton University, a Bachelor's Degree in History and Education from Rutgers University, and a Certificate of Administrative Supervision from the State University College at Cortland.
