Jan Orzel, Broome-Tioga BOCES

Jan Orzel is a co-facilitator for the summer 2007 workshop, "War as a Turning Point: American Conflicts at Home and Abroad."

Jan is a School Library Media Specialist, currently serving as Coordinator of Media Services for Broome-Tioga BOCES. The BOCES Media Library provides an extensive collection of curriculum-based resources video, DVD, digital audio/video and print to support teaching and learning in fifteen component school districts. Jan provides assistance with media selection and offers professional development in educational technology and media utilization.

Jan holds a Masters Degree in Library Science from Syracuse University, a Masters Degree in Sociolinguistics from the State University at Cortland and a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts from the State University at Oneonta.
