Teaching the Making of a Nation With Documents
August 9-13, 2004
Workshop Facilitators:
This workshop will focus on the American Revolutionary Era. We will
discuss content and teaching strategies for events leading up to the
Revolution, the Revolutionary War itself, and the debates between various
authors of the founding documents of the United States. We will examine
how the Constitution evolved during its early years, and how Americans
have used it over time.
